Someone’s Sunday is an alternative electronic band blending the brooding synth-pop of the late ’80s with modern industrial production, dark electronics and cinematic atmosphere.

Created as a Sirius Blackrock project, the band pairs analogue-inspired synths, guitars and mechanical rhythms with songs exploring identity, memory, relationships and the less comfortable corners of the human psyche.

Their debut single, House of Mirrors, introduces that world through fractured reflections and competing versions of the self, while forthcoming releases push the sound between melancholic electronic pop and harder industrial territory.

The 2nd single

Your Own Gaslight is the second single from Someone’s Sunday, pushing the band’s dark electronic sound into more confrontational territory.

Built around brooding synths, industrial textures and an insistent melodic hook, the song explores the distorted logic of a relationship where responsibility is endlessly redirected and reality rewritten until only one version of events is allowed to survive.

Darkly playful rather than defeated, the lyrics turn manipulation and self-certainty into something almost theatrical — where being right becomes its own carefully constructed reality.

Created as a Sirius Blackrock project, Your Own Gaslight continues the psychological themes introduced with House of Mirrors, but this time the reflection isn’t questioned.
